One Community, One Family

The UUCOV Religious Education program welcomes and celebrates our children's various cultures, races, families, genders, abilities, and sexual orientations. Guided by our seven Principles, we of all ages seek a spiritual home where we can share without being judged or ridiculed; where we can feel accepted for who we are and be encouraged to grow and learn and explore our spirituality while helping others do the same.

In this spirit, we ask our adult members to be teachers, short-term volunteers and mentors to our children. We encourage our youth to value, respect and form friendships with the adult congregants. We are a cooperative venture and parents play an important role in the success of the program. As parents, you can contribute to the program by volunteer teaching, bringing your children to church regularly, contributing resources with time, materials, or money, and helping your children integrate into the congregation as a whole with safety, love and respect always in mind.
