Spiritual Fellowship Groups
Are you interested in better knowing other members of this great congregation and further to better know yourself? If the answer is “yes” then the Spiritual Fellowship Group (SFG) program is a great option.
These groups of 7-10 people meet twice monthly from November to April or May. There is also a group that meets over the summer. Some groups meet in homes while others meet at Waters Hall. Presently we have 10 groups. Some are mixed, M/F, some all male and the rest are all female. Facilitators are selected and trained by the SGF Co-Chairs.
We are one of over 70% of Unitarian Universalist congregations which are a part of this Covenant Ministry program. Called Covenant Ministry because each participant must covenant/promise to give a high priority to attendance in their group and further, we promise confidentiality within the group. Topics are selected by the group from a large variety ranging from “Aging”, “Humor” and “Loss” to current events affecting our lives.
Groups begin in November. Those interested may inquire from Co-Chairs, Carol Wolfers or Pat Schwing (Note:contact information can only be seen if you are logged on.):

Spiritual Fellowship Groups Welcome You to Our Summer Drop In Meetings
The UUCOV SFG program celebrated their 10th Anniversary in April at a picnic at Maxine Barritt Park!! More than 100 members & friends of our congregation are involved in this very special program. Groups meet twice each month for 2 hours to discuss pre selected topics which are chosen by the groups. Members pledge to make attendance a high priority, to keep discussions confidential and to participate fully in the discussions.
Each summer we hold monthly OPEN DROP IN MEETINGS where members of existing groups or others who would like to investigate the program are encouraged to attend. The group will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of June, July, Aug. & Sept. at 7 P.M. at Waters Hall.
